This has been nearly impossible to post. Internet trouble, etc. Can't seem to post pictures, either. Today was a very long but rewarding day. We traveled non stop from Sacramento to Philadelphia to Lisbon. Some of us slept on the plane and others found it difficult. After customs in Lisbon, we boarded our bus with Manuela our guide and Joseph our driver. After a time we arrived in Fatima. We toured the childhood homes of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia. After a very late lunch, we checked into our hotel. We were able to take a break from the heat (36 centigrade) then go see the church and new basilica. We were also able to see the burial places of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia. We then attended mass with Father Ben presiding. We wandered about the grounds a bit more, then dinner. From there the candlelight vigil. Please enjoy the photos. Need to go to bed.
