The Pilgrimage of a Lifetime

A pilgrimage involves making one's heart full of desire for a new adventure, for special graces--to praise, petition & give thanks to the Lord. And then returning home we are transformed, renewed and restored by the abundant blessings received.

15 hours and counting

We arrived in Woodland with Bill, Amanda, my sister Debbie and my niece Beth. We checked in and are cooling off a bit before heading for "The Last Supper"with our group of pilgrims at BJ's in Sacramento before heading to SMF at 5 am tomorrow. It's been a long and short 3 years of planning and fund raising. Life sort of got in the way for me for a few weeks with final preparations for our daughter Jill and new son in law Matt's wedding on July 28. I am totally on track and ready to go now and savor it all. We hold tight in our backpacks all the prayers and good wishes of our parishioners, priests, friends, families and supporters. Thank you to all for your prayers and support over these last 3 years. I will check in again soon!
